Wandr Hotels – Terms and Conditions
This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Section 3(1) of Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, cancellation policy and Terms of Use for access or usage of through the domain and subdomains of Wandr located at www.wandrhotels.com
Check-in and Check-out
- Foreign Guests
All foreign nationals shall, at the time of check-in, furnish a valid passport together with a valid visa. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory under applicable laws, and failure to do so shall result in denial of accommodation. - Domestic Guests
All Indian nationals shall, at the time of check-in, furnish valid government-issued photo identification bearing proof of address. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Voter Identity Card
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- Masked Aadhar Card (in accordance with prevailing government guidelines)
- Check-In Timing
Standard check-in time at Wandr Hotels is 14:00 hours (2:00 p.m.) on the scheduled date of arrival. Any request for early check-in must be made in person to the Duty Manager and shall be subject to availability and management’s sole discretion. Additional charges may apply.
- Photo Identification for Walk-In Guests Paying by Cash
For all walk-in bookings where payment is made in cash, the guest must produce: - Valid photo identification (such as passport or driving licence), or
- A valid credit or debit card in the guest’s name
Failure to present the requisite identification or payment card shall result in the refusal of accommodation.
Hotel Policy
- Storage of Valuables
Guests are advised to place all money, jewellery, and other valuables in the in-room safe Wandr Hotels, its management, and staff shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to such items, whether placed in the in-room safe or otherwise. - Guest Liability
The registered guest shall be personally liable for the payment of all charges incurred during their stay, in the event the person, company, or association indicated as responsible for such charges fails to make payment, either in part or in full. - Visitor Policy
Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms at any time. This policy is strictly enforced in order to ensure the safety and security of all guests. - Check-In / Check-Out Timings
The standard check-in time is 14:00 hours (2:00 p.m.) and the standard check-out time is 12:00 hours (12:00 Noon.). Any early check-in or late check-out shall be subject to availability and may attract additional charges, at the sole discretion of the management. - Damage to Property
Any damage caused to the hotel property, whether intentional or due to negligence, shall be charged to the guest at the cost of repair or replacement, as determined by management. - Prohibited Activities
Any activity prohibited under applicable laws of India, including but not limited to prostitution, possession or consumption of illegal drugs, or any other unlawful conduct, shall not be permitted on hotel premises. The management reserves the right to notify law enforcement authorities and immediately terminate the booking without refund in such cases.
Rooms Policy
- Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for each room is clearly specified on the Wandr Hotels official booking platform at the time of reservation and the affiliated OTA listings.
Guests found to be in breach of these occupancy limits shall be required to purchase an additional room at the prevailing published daily rate.
- Visitor Restriction
For the safety and security of all guests, visitors are strictly prohibited from entering guest rooms at any time. - Children
In addition to the stated maximum occupancy, one child under the age of Seven (7) years is permitted per room. Under no circumstances shall children be left unattended in guest rooms or in any public areas of the hotel. - No-Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited within all Wandr Hotels properties, including guest rooms and enclosed public spaces. Guests must not tamper with, disable, or otherwise interfere with any fire detection or fire safety equipment.- Any guest found smoking or interfering with fire detection systems will have their booking terminated without refund and will be required to vacate the premises immediately.
- The guest hereby authorizes the hotel to charge all costs incurred as a result of such conduct, including but not limited to:
a) Specialist cleaning to restore the room to a smoke-free condition suitable for resale; and
b) The cost of the room for any period during which it remains unusable. - Such charges shall be debited to the payment card provided at the time of booking. A breakdown of charges will be furnished to the guest within ten (10) working days of such charges being levied.
- Management reserves the right to refuse future bookings from guests found in violation of this policy.
Booking Cancellation Policy
- Standard Cancellation Terms
- Guests may cancel their booking free of charge up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled check-in time of 14:00 hours (2:00 p.m.) local time on the date of arrival.
- Any cancellation made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled check-in time shall incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one (1) night’s stay at the booked rate.
- Refunds for Add-On Purchases
- In the event of a valid cancellation, any payments made towards add-on purchases (i.e., non-room services) shall be refunded in full.
- All refunds shall be processed to the original mode of payment only and may take up to fifteen (15) working days to reflect in the guest’s account, subject to bank processing timelines.
- Right of Cancellation by the Hotel
- Wandr Hotels reserves the right to cancel any booking, without liability, in the event of:
a) Guest misconduct or abusive behaviour towards hotel staff or other guests;
b) Fraudulent booking or payment activity;
c) Possession of weapons or hazardous materials on hotel premises;
d) Engagement in any activity prohibited under applicable law;
e) The guest being identified as a blacklisted profile in internal or industry records.
- Wandr Hotels reserves the right to cancel any booking, without liability, in the event of:
- Non-Refundable Incidents
- Cancellations initiated by the hotel under Clause 3 shall not entitle the guest to any refund, and the hotel reserves the right to seek damages for any losses incurred.
Booking Modification Policy
- Standard Modification Terms
- Guests may request modifications to their reservation free of charge up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled check-in time of 14:00 hours (2:00 p.m.) local time on the date of arrival.
- Modifications include, but are not limited to, reducing the number of rooms or reducing the number of nights booked, either prior to arrival or during the stay.
- Treatment of Modifications as Cancellations
- All modifications, except for room upgrades, shall be deemed a cancellation of the original booking followed by a new booking.
- In such cases, all provisions of the Booking Cancellation Policy shall apply in full.
- For date change requests, Wandr Hotels does not guarantee that the original booking rate will be available for the revised dates; the prevailing rate at the time of modification shall apply.
- Room Upgrades
- Requests for room upgrades will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability and management discretion.
- The Booking Cancellation Policy shall not apply to room upgrade requests.
- The amount payable shall be the difference between the original booked rate and the rate of the upgraded room at the time of modification.
No-Show Policy
In the event that a guest fails to check in on the scheduled date of arrival without having cancelled or amended the booking in accordance with the Booking Cancellation Policy, Wandr Hotels shall charge a no-show fee equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the total booking amount.
No refunds, credits, or date changes shall be permitted in such cases.
GST (Goods and Services Tax) Invoicing Policy
- Guests requiring a GST-compliant invoice must provide their valid GST Identification Number (GSTIN) at the time of check-in for inclusion in the billing records.
- Once recorded at check-in, the GSTIN cannot be altered, replaced, or amended under any circumstances.
- Wandr Hotels shall not be held liable for, nor shall it indemnify, any loss, claim, or penalty incurred by the guest due to the failure to provide correct GST details at the time of check-in.
Group Bookings Policy
- Definition of Group Booking
Any reservation comprising five (5) or more rooms for the same date(s) shall be classified as a Group Booking and shall be subject to the terms of this policy, in addition to the general Terms & Conditions of Wandr Hotels. - Cancellation and Reduction
If a Group Booking is cancelled, or if the number of nights or number of rooms is reduced, within thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival, no refund shall be made for any amounts paid. - Addition of Nights
Subject to availability and full payment, additional nights may be added to an existing Group Booking after the original booking dates have been confirmed. The applicable room rate shall be the prevailing published rate at the time the amendment is made.
Payment and Refund Policy
- All refunds, where applicable, shall be processed exclusively to the credit card or debit card/bank transfer used for the original booking transaction.
- Under no circumstances shall cash refunds be issued.
- Refund processing times may vary and are subject to the policies of the respective financial institutions.
